- When am I charged?
- When a contractor is chosen, or 24 hours before a scheduled job, we place a hold on your card. The hold is not a charge. You’re charged when you approve the proof of work, or automatically 24 hours after it’s submitted if you do nothing.
- What if something’s wrong?
- Report a problem in the app within 72 hours of completion. Automatic approval pauses while we review the proof. We may ask the contractor to redo the work, give account credit, or refund, as the case warrants.
- Can I cancel?
- Cancelling while we’re still searching costs nothing. After that, a fee may apply, depending on how close the job is and whether the contractor is on the way. The app shows the fee before you confirm.
- Who does the work?
- Independent local contractors. They’re responsible for their work, and they must keep their identity, insurance and vehicle documents valid.
- Do you sell my information?
- No. The privacy policy says what we collect, who processes it and how long we keep it.
- Are tips expected?
- Tips are optional, and they go to the contractor.

LOCALQ Pro is the app for contractors. You choose the jobs you bid on and do the work. We handle booking, payment and support. Our commission is shown in the app, and what you’re owed is paid out after a short holding period.
